PLANNING
I believe it’s important for the music to complement and enhance the theme of your event. Maybe you’re looking for some smooth, easy listening, background music, or some fun popular tunes from your choice of decades, or perhaps a program of energetic and upbeat music.

GENRES
Here is a list (with some examples) of the genres of music in my repertoire:

  • Rock - mostly soft rock like Van Morrison, Tom Petty, The Eagles…
  • Pop - songs from Neil Diamond, Passenger, Paul Simon and so many more
  • Folk & Folk-Rock - think of Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul & Mary, Gordon Lightfoot…

  • Traditional - The Midnight Special, This Land Is Your Land, Wellerman…

Today, 80% of my performances are for some of the premier retirement communities (Atria, Cogir, Grace, Hawthorn, SRG, Leisure Care) in the area. I also volunteer for the Alzheimers Association - Memory Makers Sing-Along programs and for the TMC Healing Art Program.

TYPICAL EVENT FEES
$200 to $750 + travel expenses (distance over 50 miles)
These are some of the factors that determine the fee: venue's budget, equipment required (sound system, vocal and guitar effects, etc.), room and audience size, preparation time. I do offer discounts for non-profits, charities, and community events, and I will work with event organizers to meet their budget requirements if possible.

OPTIONS:

  • Absolutely Acoustic
    Pure un-amplified sound… songs sung with guitar and/or ukulele. Ideal for small intimate gatherings of 10 to 25 people. Great for small intimate events and sing-alongs!
  • Amped Acoustic w/Reverb
    Bose amplifier sound system… singing songs of your choice with guitar and/or ukulele and harmonica. Ideal for gatherings of up to 50 people. Ideal for small private parties, house concerts, and community events.
  • Amped with Vocal Harmony/Effects
    Bose amplifier sound system and vocal effects adding harmonies… singing songs of your choice with guitar and/or ukulele and harmonica. Ideal for gatherings with 50+ people. Ideal for corporate events, outside events, and larger parties.
